Were Doing So Good!

 

Down by the river they put up all these signs

about mosquito abatement program in use,

course this was the county,

so that mean you never saw any workers spraying,

they were always on breaks, sometimes lasting all day.

 

Now I don’t want to say their program didn’t work

but really when the mosquitoes leave you as a pin cushion

there sure is something not quite working.

And I know its totally hopeless after I did see an employee

sleeping under a bush and holding a broken fly swatter.
