Being Your Own Boss

I thought it was my chance

to be my own boss,

just like his add claimed,

oh that correspondence course

sure had me convinced

soon I would be a captain of industry

a real entrepreneur

another mover shaker,

then next Forbes featured tycoon.

 

Even showed me pictures

of his successful graduates,

was so convinced success would be mind.

Now when he mentioned

those ways to streamlined you business

never did I imagine anything

like this.

 Wouldn’t be so bad

if I read the fine print

in that instruction contract

because hauling that guys dirty laundry

and storing his toddler’s dirty diapers

until I had enough change

for cleaning them at a Laundromat

sure makes this plan,

stink big time!
